1. Operator and agreement
Patio Chiang Mai is operated by Pat Chirawatchanakun (ภัทร์ จิรวัจนกุล), Chiang Mai, Thailand.
By submitting a booking, you confirm that you are authorised to act for all travellers and that the information supplied is complete and accurate.
2. Prices and booking confirmation
Prices are shown in Thai baht unless stated otherwise. Availability and the final total are checked by our server. Online payment is not currently available: the present website creates a 15-minute pending hold only, and Patio must confirm the booking separately. A pending hold is not a confirmed or paid booking and may expire. When online payment is introduced, the checkout will explain when payment creates a confirmed booking.
3. Traveller responsibilities
- Provide correct names, contact details, hotel, age category and relevant health or assistance information.
- Check passports, visas, insurance, fitness, clothing and equipment requirements for the selected activity.
- Arrive at the meeting point on time and follow reasonable safety instructions from Patio and the service provider.
4. Suppliers and programme changes
Tours, transport, attractions and events may be delivered by independent providers. Routes, timing, venues or inclusions may change for safety, weather, operational or regulatory reasons while we aim to provide a comparable experience.
5. Activity risk and conduct
Travel and adventure activities carry inherent risks. Tell us about needs that could affect safe participation. A provider may refuse or stop participation where conduct, intoxication, health, equipment or conditions create a material safety risk; this does not automatically create a refund right.
6. Cancellations, refunds and programme terms
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. The standard cancellation rules apply unless the programme details and checkout clearly show a programme-specific exception before payment. The current booking-hold flow has no programme-specific exception field, so the standard rules apply.
7. Omise Test Mode and future online payment
Online payment is not currently available for real bookings. If the checkout displays Omise Test Mode during an authorised test, it identifies Omise before simulated card or PromptPay processing. Test Mode does not charge real money and does not send a confirmation email or e-receipt. Refunds are not automatic; any test review is handled manually. Live payment remains a separate future release. We may pause or cancel a transaction that reasonably appears unauthorised or fraudulent.
8. Liability and events outside control
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by Thai law, Patio is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate traveller information, a traveller’s breach, or events outside reasonable control such as severe weather, closure, strike, public authority action or transport disruption.
9. Website content and law
The Patio name, website design, text and original media may not be copied for commercial use without permission. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Please contact us first at patrickpatiothai@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any concern fairly.
